ATZ degradation was primarily driven by 1O2.
Common groundwater components ( and Mg2+) enhanced ATZ degradation
The micro-nanobubbles system exhibited effective dechlorination capability for ATZ.
Proposed the degradation mechanism of ATZ by ozone micro-nanobubbles technology.
This study explored the efficacy and mechanisms of an ozone micro-nanobubbles
system in the removal of atrazine from groundwater. Key findings were summarized
as follows:(1) The ozone micro-nanobubbles system demonstrated approximately
100 % degradation efficiency for 10 mg·L−1 ATZ with a 30-minute treatment time in
simulated wastewater, outperforming conventional ozone aeration by 77.6 %. (2)
Optimum efficiency occurred at a gas flow rate of 160 ml·min−1
